SCSA Appoints New Executive Director

Smithers Community Services Association (SCSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Myung Lee as its new Executive Director. With over two decades of knowledge and experience in both non-profit and for-profit sectors, Ms. Lee brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success in organizational leadership.

Ms. Lee has an impressive background, having served at the Director level for three prominent organizations in the Lower Mainland, where she played a crucial role in supporting operations, fund development, communications, and community engagement. Her extensive experience in various sectors has equipped her with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by organizations aiming to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Throughout her career, Ms. Lee has demonstrated a strong commitment to the betterment of communities, with a particular focus on enhancing the lives of vulnerable populations. Her passion for social justice and equity has been the driving force behind her dedication to the non-profit sector. She has successfully led numerous initiatives that have made a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families facing adversity.

As the new Executive Director of SCSA, Ms. Lee will be responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing program implementation, and ensuring the organization's continued growth and sustainability. She will leverage her extensive experience in operations management, fund development, and community engagement to lead SCSA into a new era.
