Youth Empowerment Program (YEP)

The YEP program supports youth by engaging them in arts, life skills, outdoor activities and counselling services. There are outreach centers located in Houston, Smithers, Moricetown and Hazelton.

Outreach workers in each community will engage with youth who have been referred by RCMP, MCFD, the schools, Mental Health, and other appropriate service organizations. The outreach worker will also assist the youth and their families develop an Individual/Family Development Plan (IFDP). These plans will guide the youth and their families into more positive and constructive relationships and activities.
